Who we are
This website is run by Robin des Bois, a Lebanese hospitality company. We develop and manage destinations called Squares: Rayfoun Square, Jeita Square and Klayaat Square.
We decide what information this site collects and why. The site was built and is maintained for us by Built Studio LLC, acting on our instructions.
If you have a question about your information, write to us at alainmasri@yahoo.com.
The short version
- The site sets no cookies at all.
- The site keeps no database. When you write to us, your message is sent to our inbox by email and nothing is stored on the site.
- We measure visits only if you say yes, and the numbers cannot identify you.
- You can ask us to see, correct or delete what we hold about you.
When you write to us
The contact form asks for:
- which conversation it is: leasing a space, or investing or partnering,
- your name and your email address,
- your phone number, if you give it,
- your brand or concept, or your organization,
- the Square you prefer,
- and your message.
We use this only to reply to you and to follow up your enquiry.
How your message reaches us
The site keeps no database and stores nothing. Each message is sent by email, through Google’s Gmail service, to the Robin des Bois inbox, which is hosted by Yahoo. The email account that sends it also keeps a copy in its sent mail.
To keep out spam, the form uses a hidden field and a minimum time before it can be sent. There is no captcha, and no other company checks your message.
When you visit
Visit statistics, only if you agree
On your first visit, the site asks whether it may measure visits. If you choose Accept, we measure visits with Vercel Web Analytics. Until you choose Accept, it stays off.
When it is on, Vercel records this for each page you view:
- the time,
- the address of the page,
- the page you came from,
- the extra details at the end of the page address, after filtering,
- your approximate location: country, region and city,
- the type of device,
- the operating system and the browser, with their versions.
Vercel Web Analytics sets no cookies. Visitors are counted with a scrambled code created from the request, which Vercel discards after 24 hours. The data is used for overall statistics only and cannot identify you. You can read Vercel’s own explanation.
Your choice, and what is stored on your device
The question comes with two buttons, Accept and Reject, with equal weight on the first screen. Accept turns Vercel Web Analytics on. Reject keeps it off.
Your answer is saved in your browser’s local storage under the name rdb-consent, so the question is not repeated on every page. This is the only thing the site stores on your device.
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as Reject automatically.
You can change your choice at any time from “Privacy choices” in the footer of every page.
The site sets no cookies at all, whether you accept or not. The opening animation and the page transitions store nothing.
Hosting
Vercel Inc. hosts this site. To deliver the pages and protect the site, Vercel processes your IP address in short lived technical logs.
Fonts and images are served from this site itself. No fonts, maps, videos or social media posts are loaded from another company.
Our links to Instagram are ordinary links. Nothing from Instagram loads until you click one. After that, Instagram’s own privacy policy applies.
Why we use it
- Your message: to reply to you and follow up your enquiry, because you asked us to.
- Visit statistics: only because you agreed. You can take that back at any time, as easily as you gave it.
- Hosting logs: to deliver the site and keep it safe.

How long we keep it
- The site itself keeps nothing.
- Messages stay in our inbox, and in the sent mail of the account that sends them, only as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any agreement that follows from it. Then we delete them.
- Vercel keeps visit statistics as anonymous records and shows them to us only as totals. Nothing in them identifies you.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- show you what we hold about you,
- correct anything that is wrong,
- delete it,
- stop using it, if you object to how we use it,
- send you a copy of it.
